What is víbora II project?
Some years ago, de Vinalopo river bed was transformed into an enormous mural that caused the amazement and admiration of everyone who watched it. More than a hundred people of all nationalities participated in the “Vibora Project” (“Viper Project”), using more than 6 tonnes of paint in a 1,5 km long stretch. It was certified by the Guinness World Records as the world’s largest painted mural.
This year, promoted by a group of artists from Elche, the challenge is to decorate the riverbed again with graffiti and murals, with a much larger area: 35.100 square meters, that starts from the Bimil·lenari bridge to the Barrachina bridge.
The event will take place from 1st to 8th of August and we expect the attendance of artists from all levels, both national and international, that will work in the renovation of the designs of the first edition and in the creation of new ones.
